Barbie’s Autumn revisable jackets

With the left over scraps from our sewing class I was given some bigger pieces for my Barbie. This coat is set to be reversible! One side is brown/gold and the other side is autumn colors, green and brown.

* this outfit is now selling in hospice shop.

This is the brown /gold side of the jacket.

And this is the Green side of it.

I keep the pants green.

Project in progress- Miniatured Cakeshop from recycled iPad box

Started to create this little big project from 3rd May this year, since I have been given quite a few of the recycled iPad boxes which was about to go into the bin.  I started to plan how I want it to look like and draft it out.

I didn't estimate how long it was going to take to create, on and off so far is already July and I'm only 2/3 through.  Even thought I have the drawing to work with but I have change some of it during the process.

I also draft out some of the furnitures,

With that in mine, I have created the below pieces to start with...

Now I just have to make a start of my Cakeshop from the empty iPad box, I will used the recycled Washi tape plastic wrapper for the windows.

Started my exterior. With recycled eggs' tray... tear it into pieces, dry brush and the glue it down.

Front exterior rocks' wall is done, now just need some touching up... Next come the door...

A different view emerged when I placed both front and back next to each other,

Table and chair is in, Windows seat is looking pretty good too. :)

Since the progress is pretty good, so I decided to start on making my miniature polymer cakes for the shop.

2nd cake in progress, I am trying to make the roses as smaller as I can but it proved to be pretty hard, I guess prastice will make perfect! Will try my best, all advice and feed back are welcome, thanks for looking!

  

I started to look into internet to get inspiration for making wedding cakes, yes.. I mean to make a miniatured size, :)

Inspired by the original cake (On the far right) I have created my own miniatured version.

Just make a funky tipsy turvy cake, still need improvement... but is not too bad for my first attemp.

Made a chocolate lush, of cos is not eatable... 😋 the smaller photo is the real eatable one which is what I base on to make my miniature version (show in the large photo)

Mini lemon meringue cheesecakes
Try my best to get this made with as much details as I can, is 0.5mm wide in size. The small size photo is what I based on to create the mini. 😁

Inspired by a simple wedding cake I come up with this idea to make my miniatured dessert cake. Each of this is about 0.5mm square.
